Coffee cream and flavour
Colombia Excelso Medelin is one of the strong coffees, with quality, big beans and full intensity. It is roasted to accentuate the balanced sweet taste, followed by a coconut flavour. The aftertaste can be felt on the tongue for a long time and disappears only slowly. This makes this coffee from Pedregal very popular. The thick, long-lasting foam enhances the experience.
Origin of coffee

Quality Colombian plantation coffee is one of the most sought after in the world. The South American country is bordered by the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, which greatly influences its climate and seasonal variations. Despite frequent weather fluctuations, farmers harvested around 600,000 tonnes of coffee beans in 2013. The increase in production has thus placed Colombia among the top three coffee superpowers.
The Pedregal region produces 100 percent arabica, which grows on the slopes of the Andes. The volcanic soil provides the necessary nutrients and the high humidity provides the necessary moisture. It is a Bourbon variety, which is grown in the right natural conditions. This allows local farmers to produce high quality coffee with a velvety body.
In Pedregal, the coffee trees (Caffea arabica) are usually harvested continuously throughout the year. This allows only the ripe berries (which resemble cherries) to be harvested, and also allows for continuous manual care of the plantation. The beans are processed wet. The fruit is first soaked in water. Any beans of poor quality or unripe beans remain on the surface of the water and are removed. The good quality beans sink in the water and are pressed through crushing plates together with the water. This removes the pulp and skin from the seeds. Fermentation then takes place, which has a significant impact on the final aroma and therefore requires great care. Drying is the final stage, first in the open air and then in a drier. Come with us on a journey under the foothills of the great volcanoes, around the bays and the backwaters, in the shade of the banana trees... You're sure to bump into the fragrant plantations. The coffee of northern Colombia is uniquely magical. It appeals with its softness, but also with its strength, sweetness and bitterness. It cocoons your senses and energizes them. Place of origin:
